Mass Struggle
A Dharna by farmers of the Jammu and Kashmir was organized at Jantar Mantar demanding immidiate withdrawal of land eviction laws 2020. The Dharna was joined by General Secretary CPI(M) Shri Sitaram Yechuri, CC Member Comrade Tarigami, Comrade Vijoo Krishan, Inderjeet Singh, B venkat, SFI Gen Secretary Mayukh Biswas and other prominent leader of the party. In his speech, Tarigami highlighted and applauded the recent successful farmer’s agitation against anti- kissan Agri laws and asked the government to take a lesson from that and not to test this majority section of the society anymore. He recollected various such struggles across the country and said that if this community could throw out the English imperial and colonial power, they can do it yet again. Instead of making an appeal to the government, he invoked the help and support of the leaders present and the leadership of the Kissan Tehreek of India. He was hopeful of India with peace and prosperity for one and all with no fascist powers around.
